01, November 2000
21:15 BELGRADE, Wednesday – Ousted Yugoslav president Slobodan
Milosevic is holed up in a military installation in the Belgrade suburb of
Dedinje, senior DOS official Zoran Djindjic said today.
“He is in special voluntary imprisonment,” said Djindjic
“and never steps outside of the facility because he is protected
only while inside”.
Djindjic added that Milosevic had his own security and was accompanied
by his personal bodyguard. He noted that the former president would
definitely be one of the people who would be brought to trial in Serbia.
“We shall see how Milosevic will act,” said Djindjic. |
