George Robertson Denounced Violence in a Buffer Zone along Serbia-Kosovo Border

BRUSSELS - NATO Secretary General George Robertson the most severly denounced tonight violence in a buffer zone along administrative border between Serbia and Kosovo and said that NATO most seriously tries to eliminate problems which occured there.

"I invite President Kostunica and Yugoslav security troops not to react tactlessly on situation over there, because we will do everything that is in our power to solve this problem", said Robertson at the press conference which was organized for President of Poland Alexander Kvasnevski, too.

NATO Secretary General stated that K-FOR troops had already arrested certain armoured persons and confiscated certain quantity of weapons, stressing that K-FOR commander, an Italin general Carlo Cabidjosa "is very determined and professional soldier who will firmly aproach to the solving of this problem”.
